    Fights a very, very tough Carl Froch at 168. Next takes interim fight at 168 (scores a KO) and then moves up to fight for the title at 175 against one of the guys not many people have wanted to take on in Diaconu.

    Wins the title and hands Diaconu his first loss by fighting smart, hard and with a champ's heart.

    hell of a fight and just shut up a bunch of fanatics about how great diaconou was. does that answer the question of what would have happened if dawson had fought him? No. but it does give you an idea.

    I wonder where are Diaconu biased fans that was saying Dawson was scared to fight Diaconu? But any way big props for Pascal. Pascal has become a new fan of mine.

    Pascal vs Bute, in a couple of years, will be SO BIG in montreal. Much bigger than Hilton-Ouellett were.

    Yeah Pascal's a real warrior.. Got good boxing skills too.. Could tighten up his defence a bit thought but i guess that's why he's in such exciting fights..

    :good Agreed, he was brilliant last night- well worth staying up till 5 in the morning UK time. He has a core following since the Froch loss and will become a major draw in Montreal now. I look forward to Pascal's upcoming bouts.

    Amazing fight. Pascal as an explosive style, gotta love it. This man is here to stay(this also confirms Carl Froch's skill somehow!)

    Became a fan after that gutsy performance against Froch, and the way he accepted his defeat in what was a pretty close fight and seemed more determined than ever to succeed. Glad he did the job yesterday (as I picked him to do, as did the majority of others)

    Pascal didn't beat anybody that was actually ok but he got my respect for the way he fought Froch but i just became a fan cause the way he beat Diaconu. I'm not the only one here in esb that is just became a fan of Pascal. If you don't like then ignored me or stfu.

    the dude has alot of Athletic capabilities.

    I think now he knows he belongs at the top he will grow into a very good champ.

    hes 26, he can fight in the trenches and on the back foot, a very good champ.

    wont beat Dawson, but the others at light heavy 50/50

    he went over to the uk, to fight undefeated froch and went toe to toe with him....its hard not to like him!
