- Gets up at 6 to do some running before he goes to school - Six rounds of shadow boxing - 30 minutes of jump roping - Six rounds of heavy bag and sparring - Four rounds of pad work - 300 sit-ups and 100 push-ups So what do you guys think?
Yea, that speed is unreal. I couldnt beleive how well he looked against his last two opponents. atsch
Yeah, he used to do the same routine back in the amateurs. His problem is that he relaxes too much in between reps/rounds... he doesn't bring intensity. He likes to look at himself and rap in front of the mirror too much. He should be focusing more. Strengthening your mind is also part of boxing training.
seems like pretty light training. that looks like what i would expect to hear my frends were doing in preperation for four round bouts if they had just picked up boxing. if it works for him good but i would think for someone fighting and getting top level attention he would be trining alot more than that. i'd be beat after that workout but i could pull it off and in no time be ready for a more intense routine.
