Has anybody seen much of him above and beyond Boxrec??

I know absolutely nothing about him. Is there any chance he is likely to trouble Froch at all ??

    :patsch

This is Carl "The Cobra" Froch we're talking about, the man who humiliated and KOed Reid, something a prime Calzaghe couldn't do, the man who would KO Bute and Berrio on the same night, the man who would KO Kessler and Taylor, the man who would put Calzaghe into permanent retirement. Froch - the best super middleweight in the world! Froch - the iron chinned, one-punch KO unstoppable demon from hell! :deal

Any chance chinny Jean Fruit Pastille could trouble him?? Well, what do YOU think!?

The jury is out on Froch for me, still so unproven.

Just curious to find out more about Pascal.

    Incredibly witty post btw :good

Pascal is skilled but he is a bit chinny. And being a bit chinny is the last thing you want to be facing Froch who is horribly underrated due to lack of competition thus far.

How do you know how underrated he is? How good is he really? Can you tell given his standard of competition so far? I can't!;)

I've seen a lot of British fighter come up. I had the same thoughts about Watson, Eubank, Benn, Calzaghe etc before they got big fights. I wasnt wrong about them, doubt I will be wrong about Froch.

It doesn't work like that, mate...:verysad...Froch himself doesn't know how good he is. No one does. You're being very positive, that's all. All statements you make about Froch are based on pure, unadulterated wishful thinking. Unless you think you're psychic (hope you don't!), I'm not sure what use statements like "I doubt I'm wrong about Froch" or "You can quote me on that", etc, are, except in painting you as a delusional nuthugger. :conf

...now, if he had been a really outstanding amateur, with his very good chin and punch, yeah...you could predict a great future...but as things stand...let's wait and see...

Big bollocks, great chin and he can knock you out, left or right, head or body.

    He wants the big fights.

Big names have ducked fighting him.

These aren't nobodies either - Inkin pulled out twice.

Then Taylor took less money for Lacy - WHY ? as a boxer, why would you take half a million dollars instead of nearly $2m dollars plus the WBC title ?

I am not delusional... I know I am rating on gut feeling and could be very wrong. On the other hand that same gut feeling has served me well at the bookies thus far.

Are you telling me you've never seen a fighter coming up and said to yourself he will be a world champ? I have and other than Herol Graham I've never been wrong yet. And I'd still rate graham as a better boxer than many fighters that did get a title.

Would I be delusional now if Ali was an upcoming boxer and I had seen his skills and said he'd go far even if he hadnt beaten anyone of note? Now Froch is no Ali, but he has a good chin, excellent conditioning heavy hands and very good accuracy. That is a very good package whether he beaten everyone or no one. Its easy to pick a champ after they have unified a division, try picking them before they win a belt and if you are as successful at it as I've been the bookies will hate you.

Fancy an avatar bet on it? You'd look good with a nice Cobra mugshot under your name.
