People are so quick to **** on young fighters and write them off for a less than stellar performance even when they win by stoppage. Hell Lopez was written off here in his fight before commey where he didnt look great. People called him trash a bum a clown and overrated power yet in his very next fight he bounces back with a career best performance and win against commey.

Let this sink in -- it just took Davis -- with serious help from the ref -- 12 rounds to stop the shot to **** ghost of Gamboa's wife's one legged and drunk autistic aunt. NOT GOOD.

What idiot made a thread about Tank having better power than Pac? What a peach that analysis turned out to be. That has "meth" written all over it.

I guess the era of pbf where he put on clinics basically everytime out has spoiled people
Pbf was a special once in a generation talent there's no current fighter as good as him. Fighters have bad performances this isnt new. I guess it's just the new generation boxing fan who think you have to dominate every round in spectacular fashion and if you don't you're trash.

Commey probably has the same chin level as Gamboa. That's how you end it. I think Lopez easily stops Gamboa though.Inside 4 to 5 rounds.

Man the openings are there but Gamboa was not taking them. If my amateur ass can see them Gamboa can yo but he pitty pats and pulls his punches! If I’m Gamboa I stay down after the k.o but it’s as if he was told take him 12 but don’t hurt him. Gamboa took to much punishment

Yet lopez was trashed here in his previous fight. People said his power was overrated he was overrated he was trash. Yet he stopped commey a guy who's known for toughness and people thought would give him hell.

This kid has all the talent and ability in the world. He has the POTENTIAL to be a great fighter. But if he doesnt make A LOT of DRASTIC life changes hes going to spectacularly underachiever. Hes being touted as a star of the next gen and keeps having issues making weight. Thats flat out unprofessional. Shame too cause hes a good kid.

My point is when you given a glassy chin boxer who is 38 years old for a title fight. It should of finished a lot earlier. TLO did it empathically. Look, Tank was landing a lot of flush shots and let's be honest Gamboa took them. TLO lands those shots on Gamboa call the ambalamps. Tank landed viciously but Gamboa took it. Albeit looking like a drunk. But still he managed.

I agree he needs to watch the people he hangs out with and dedicate his life to boxing.

It was also his 1st fight at a new weight. He needs to get adjusted to it. Give him a chance. With that said it's possible that his power isn't as effective at 135 as it was at 130. I have said in the past that davis needs to work on moving and working behind his jab more because if you can take his power he will struggle i said this even before he fought pedraza. Trying to slug it out isnt going to work against everyone.

I didn't even know anything about Pedraza at the time when he fought Twink so I had no idea he was actually a highly skilled boxer and was more than capable of employing completely different tactics. However, it was still abundantly obvious to me that he fought a really dumb fight wading in face first to bomb after bomb all night like a drunken caveman. His tactics in that fight were akin to submerging your plums in a tank (no pun intended) full of piranhas and expecting zero bites.

I picked Pascal and he won. I have nothing to cry about. Your response doesn't even make sense.

It might have been ligament damage for Gamboa.
