Draw was fair between Pascal and Jack. Can't argue against 114-112 for either fighter though.

Both dominated one half of the fight. Both scored a knockdown and hurt each other badly.

I think Jack deserves a rematch. Would like to see a second fight. Definitely one of the best fights in the big 3 divisions in 2019.

Thumbs up for both guys. True warriors.

PS: If Jack might be able to start a fight in Round 1 instead of Round 6 or 7 he probably can win a few fights more in his career ....lmfao...never saw a guy like him who is totally ****ing up the first half (or at least the first few rounds) of so many big fights (Stevenson, Browne until he was cut, Pascal...)

Just what does Badou Jack have to do to get a win in a close fight ?? He won that fight over Pascal but give them both due it was a CLASSIC !!

Got a lot of time for Jean Pascal as a fight fan. Win, lose or draw, his resume is insane. Never ducked out of a fight.

Just watched Pascal v Jack now. My scorecard.

    Round 1. Pascal 10-9
    Round 2. Pascal 10-9 close
    Round 3. Pascal 10-9 close
    Round 4. Pascal 10-8
    Round 5. Pascal 10-9
    Round 6. Jack 10-9
Round 7. Pascal 10-9 very close
    Round 8. Jack 10-9
    Round 9. Jack 10-9
    Round 10. Jack 10-9
    Round 11. Jack 10-9
    Round 12. Jack 10-8

    113-113 Draw.

Round 4 proved to be the difference as it went from a clear Jack round to a 10-8 Pascal round.

that's actually a really good score card.

I feel it was easier to give pascal either round 9 or 10
then it was to give jack a round from round 1-5. and 7.

Thanks man. Yeah I had the benefit of watching some rounds that were close twice (I didn't change my mind on any mind you). Certainly no robbery though. As people have said numerous times, Jack is his own worst enemy for starting so slowly. Funnily enough as I said in an earlier post, if he just played it safe at the end of round 4, then he would have won the fight as he dominated the round up until the KD.

I finally got around to watching Pascal-Jack last night, here's my 2 cents and scorecard.

Round 1 Pascal 10-9, close but clear
Round 2 Pascal 10-9, close but clear
    Round 3 Pascal 10-9
    Round 4 Pascal 10-8
    Round 5 Pascal 10-9
    Round 6 Jack 10-9
    Round 7 Pascal 10-9, close
    Round 8 Jack 10-9
    Round 9 Jack 10-9
    Round 10 Pascal 10-9, close
    Round 11 Jack 10-9
    Round 12 Jack 10-8

    114-112 Pascal

It was a really good fight, not quite a great fight though. Not sure what all the controversy was about, Pascal close or a draw are the only way this fight could be scored. All the people whining about Jack getting "robbed" are delusional. Pascal's defense was on point especially in the first six, and many of Jack's jabs and rights were missing by a hair. And well yes, Jack did take over in the second half, it wasn't a shutout, the 7th Pascal won, and the 10th while close, Pascal did this slightly more effective work. Also, the fact that the knock down in the 12th round was not an actual knockdown but instead a slip, had Jack won because of that, that would have been a true atrocity. I don't care how hurt Pascal was, he went down because he swung for the fences and missed, really bad call by the ref.

One more thing, Jim Gray is as sleazy a reptile as they come, perhaps one of the most despicable people the sport has ever produced. He's genuinely repellent, not sure why they don't kick his ass to the curb, it's not like anyone would really care, there's no sentimental attachment to him from anyone I doubt. Maybe not even his own family.

    Good card.

And yeah, the fact that Jim Gray has outlasted such onscreen personalities as Harold Lederman & Nick Charles (rip), Jim Lampley, etc really chaps my ass. James Toney dragged him for being a douche years ago. Fighters in almost unison either openly express dislike for him, or you can read it on their faces when they have to do interviews with him. Fans don't like him either. Why the hell is he still employed in that capacity??? Who at Showtime is he deep-throating with his ugly skinny weasel face??

Awesome card! I had the exact same score, and the exact same rounds as you live

I still remember when this douche was working for the big networks mainly interviewing baseball players after playoff games. That ended when he went at Pete Rose hard about the gambling stuff almost out of the blue. He's been doing niche sports interviews every since. Creepy ****er, the guy is clearly a weirdo. No idea how he's been working in TV, on camera for so long :deal:
