Quick hands, hardly anyone on this forum even remembers Chandler let alone saw him. Personally, I think ******* Jeff gives ******* Hamed a beating over 15
I remember Jeff well. Really good ring general. Dont know if he could handle Hameds power. I gotta give this one more thought.
I remember Jeff very well. It's just a difficult matchup to project. I think Chandler was the superior fighter but I suspect the jump from 118 to 126 would be too much in this matchup.
:deal I may be the biggest Chandler supporter on this forum...or anywhere for that matter.... I just don't see Chandler making this jump in weight easily...he had looked @ moving up to SBW to fight Gomez, and I think that would have been his limit. He might make this competitive for around 3-5 rounds or so, but I imagine Hamed would stop him between rounds 5-8....I don't believe Jeff could last the distance outside of merely trying to survive, and even then he may not be able to....Irrelevant either way, since he did not have it in him to fight that conservative anyhow.
Chandler was an outstanding bantamweight, but challenging Hamed up at featherweight might be too tough a task.
Tell me more if you can, I was not aware of this nor of how Good Hamed was @ this stage. Anything on YOUTUBE? I know I could search but its late and I am lazy....My initial thought is a 20 y/o Hamed w/ 12 fights would not be seasoned enough to beat Chandler (Whom I know you notoriously under rate... :nut )....But I can't make that a legitimate prediction untill I know more... What are your thoughts, would Hamed be able to beat him at this stage or would he need more experience????
Think it was Belcastro who was ranked top 10 by The Ring. Naz had him down heavily in the first but laboured for most of the fight. Looked exactly the same fighter to me. Only got worse with time. Still, as legit' a challenger as Chandler faced (not a slight on Jeff, Naz was a top ten bantam)
I have to disagree for me naz was a level below at bantam than he was at feather, if this fight was at bantam chandler wins no problem
Got hit more as he stepped up in weight (and class admittedly) but would've had less of a speed advantage against smaller guys. Is that your line of thought here mate?
