Jeff Fenech awarded belt from WBC for "victory" over Azumah Nelson?!!

This is a symbolic gesture, much like when the WBC awarded Rubin Carter an honorary world title years after he was imprisoned or calling Adrien Broner a ‘world champion’. I don’t actually think it’s going to show up anywhere in the record books or that people will start calling Fenech a four-division world champion.

It makes no actual sense, but when did that ever stop the WBC from doing anything?

 

Wait til tomorrow, when the WBC announces they have retroactively counted Buster Douglas out and Mike Tyson is somehow still champ to this day.

Also, Buster and Evander and everyone else in that lineage is stripped and will be wiped from history.

 

Have no clue if the Belt awarded to Fenech is honorary or not, but I think its stupid to take a bout that was truly close and ruled a draw and have it
re-scored.

Wait a minute another news alert, the WBC has reversed their decision to change the outcome of Pacquiao-Bradley, turns out that Juan Manuel Marquez upon hearing Pacquiao was re-awarded the belt, petitioned the WBC to award him that same belt since he then took that title from Pacquiao by way of KTFO 6.

LOL, this is what the WBC is all about, they play to their favorites that play with them.
