Since the fight was in Fenech's own backyard, and judging by the close scores, its more than likely that you're right?

Damn shame a fight like this even took place. These guys must not be doing well for themselves after boxing.:-(

Honestly the fight only deserved a draw, nothing else. It was that poor at times.

Wow. This fights should not have happened. Fenech gets no props for defeating a 10,000 year old Nelson. Nelson however gets props for making Fenech still fear his power.

 

Sorry to burst ur bubble m8, but there is no way in hell that Azumah had maleria going into that fight. None. He just got beaten by the better man, knew it, and tried to make an excuse so that he would not get ridiculed when he went back home. Just like the second fight, he came and desicivley won the fight. This time he was the better man.

Back to the topic, they were in pretty good condition coming into this fight at their age, so respect. Boring as **** fight that should not really have been allowed unless both parties were informed to take it a bit easy on each other. (Picture Rocky and Apollo sitting on the couch watching the tape of their fight together)

 

It's pretty sad that these guys, who combined are older than Methuselah, still come in in better shape than roughly a third of the current HW division.

Fenech sure looked like he knew he had the decision though.

 

Nelson dodn't throw enough punches to win the fight. Still looked like he had great power though. Credit to both guys for going 10 rounds after so long out.

 

Some nice bodies they brought into the ring.

 

Screw you guys, let 'em fight. They were in no more danger than they were when they were younger.

Who the hell do you guys think you are on some message board to tell former title holders what they can and can't do with there life.

No one is making you watch.

 

I dont have to watch it but, when I hear about it, I have to comment on it, and they are nice guys but, no one wants to watch that trash of boxing match

 

You're obviously wrong, because they wouldn't have done it if people weren't paying to watch.
