    Difficult one.
Barry tends to get a tad underrated these days, mainly because the Nelson fight wasn't made and the way his career went on the slide after the unexpected Cruz defeat.
However when he was in his prime mainly on his way to the title he was a bit of a beast, unrelentingly aggressive and a great body puncher.
This is close but I think McGuigan could take it on a close points decision.

That would have been a war.
Hard to pick, which is why it is great match making
Have to sit on the fence with this one

    Great fight.
    2 preasure guys.
Fenech is a swarmer with a higher work rate.
Barry has a better jab and more power.
Like alot of guys said its 50\50 for me.
    Two of my favorites.

Fenech was really strong, and seemingly impervious to pain. McGuigan had good power and decent head movement and upper-body movement to help thwart attacks.

McGuigan had what amounted to a two-fight prime though, Laporte and then Pedroza. After that, he started to falter. Fenech maintained it better.

I see Fenech boring in and taking the play away from McGuigan, and making it as messy as he can. Barry couldn't fight off the back foot and it was hard NOT to fight Fenech off your back foot. He kind of insisted on that.

Fenech by late TKO, around rounds 10-11.
