    This would have been an absolute war at Featherweight and a fight that should have happened around 1988 to 1990. How does the Marrickville Mauler handle the boxing skills and punching power of Esparragoza? Esparragoza looked impressive when he destroyed Steve Cruz but had a much harder time with Marcos Villasana and drew with him, a fighter that Fenech pretty much had his way with him throughout the fight. A terrific match up that boxing missed out on.

    Great match-up! Only my hunch but I see Antonio putting Jeff on the canvas and getting a close decision.

    by smothering him @ close quarters & outhustling him, IMO.

    I don't think Esparra proved enough against high enough comp to be favored over Fenech.

    Jeff has enough volume and grit to beat Esparragoza, remember how the venezuelan lost his title?
