If Fenech is at his best and makes the weight today he would beat the **** out of the Jackal, he'd never get off it would be an utter mugging by Jeff. This would be a mauling and it would be appalling.

Fenech, too strong and gutsy. He’d simply be too busy and strong for Rigo after losing a few early rounds.

Fenech was class above. Fenech fought best opposition. Rigo maybe the most overrated fighter of lower weights

Most Cubans get overrated I've noticed.

Rigo beat the best guy of his generation, other than himself, and was subsequently not allowed to fight most of the other top fighters.

Agree. Fenech was by far the greater fighter and would beat the overrated cuban no doubt in my mind.

I think you might be a little slow. You're quoting a post that says the other fighters wouldn't fight him. And it's true. Two Olympic gold medals, two World Championship golds, beat the best 118/122 fighter of his generation, and even deserved the win over Casmiero while being an absolute ghost of himself.

Fenech never beat anyone as good as Donaire.
