You can’t compare a dominant win over Donaire to a draw.

He went life and death and was lucky to get a decision against Ricardo Cordoba he got dropped twice against the mediocre Amagasa and was hurt several times against the also Mediocre Marroquin his inside fighting was average at best . Theres absolutely no chance he would beat Fenech ...none.

It seems you have heavy vibe. But lets see the facts.

    1) Rigondeaux had close fights with the likes: Solis, Casimero.

    2) He was knocked down against: Amagasa (twice) and Astrolabio (who da **** is this?)

    3) Who his Top5 wins? Donaire and... That ghanaian?

    4) Superbantam wasnt Donaire's prime weight.

The facts. And keep you thoughts about "all of them top boxers ducking Rigo" to yourself

    1. 40+ in those fights
    2. He loses the flash knockdown contest. Meaningful stat. Nevermind that Donaire couldn’t come close to stopping him.
    3. Donaire, Rico Ramos, Cordoba, Agbeko Dickens/Flores/Ceja and others were similar. Thread isn’t a resume contest.
    4. Donaire was unified at 122 and undefeated. Physically bigger than Rigo. Don’t stretch the truth.

Rigo's resume is too thin. No match with Fenech's. There are levels and you are trying to force Rigo's level. But his career says the opposite. Yeah, he beat Donaire well done. But you're exagerrating his h2h power only because of this. Good boxer great fundamentals, but he's very beatable. And Rigo doesnt proves otherwise at the top level. Sorry)

Fenech never beat Donaire and doesn’t have the am medals. You don’t even know what’s so special about Fenech (you’ve barely mentioned him).

Lol, how relevant ams medals?)) I saw all of major Jeff's fights and he'd ran over Rigo and his am medals. All your rhetoric - dreams and win over Donaire.

Yes, being one of the best ams ever is, in fact, relevant. Fenech got the worst of his big fights w Azumah. Fenech is not god.

Fenech losses the first few rds then begins beating Rigo up and stops him around the 8th or 9th.

Have you actually watched the fight?

It was a pretty dominant “draw” for Fenech.

Anyone that watches the fight can see it was a dominant win.

Basically, you're arguing that he should be 1-1 against Nelson with a stoppage loss in the rematch (not counting 2008). I don't see this as evidence that he reached Rigondeaux's peak level.

If he got that deserved win he’d have been an undefeated 4 weight champion that at that point no one had achieved. Rigondeaux didn’t achieve that level. Rigo was brilliant but his career was ultimately frustrating. Post Donaire his career was a disappointment.
