Could Fenech catch up to Famechon or would Famechon be too slick for Fenech?

Would anyone pick Fenech against Famechon?

Well, if pressure fighters like Harada and Saldivar had success against them, then I see no reason why Fenech couldn't track Famechon down as well.

Yeah...I'd pick Fenech to wear Famechon down, score a couple of knockdowns, and emerge with a clear UD.

Slick boxers with average power were Fenechs bread and butter at his best (Greg Richardson,Jerome Coffee), who Fenech could bully to the ropes and work over until they were too battered to continue.
Fammo was very crafty, had great survival instincts (never stopped) and had the jab and footwork to frustrate Fenech for a few rounds, but he didn't have the type of power required to give Jeff problems.
Look for Fenech to begin to cut off the ring in the mid rounds, and through sheer volume of punches start to overwhelm Fammo. After hitting the canvas Fammo goes into survival mode and he needs all his wiles to finish the fight upright losing a unanimous decision.
    Great match up though.:good

    Totally agree with both forecasts.

I think it could go either way. Sure Fammo lost to Saldivar but he wasn't outclassed. He did take a bit of a hiding from Harada but he was a GREAT fighter, and a level above Jeff imo.

If forced to pick I'd probably pick Fenech by a round or two, but I can't see it being anything but close.

This one I dont know. Richardson and Coffee were slick boxers but not in Famos league.
Saldivar was like Jeff but he was a southpaw .
Famo could really move and I dont think Fenech has ever encountered someone like that where I have seen Famo under pressure.
id lean towards Famo in a rough a close bout.

Fenech for me. Just incredible in his prime.
