if you honestly think jeff fenech wasn't robbed in the first fight with azumah nelson then i don't know what to tell you.
He was not and I was there in with my Uncle’s corner. He was not at his best in the first fight because he was suffering from bad malaria but he still one 116-112 because of his accuracy and precision against Fenech’s volume. He could have called the fight off but refused to because that is not what champions do. When all of you were bitching Fenech won blah blah Uncle offered him an immediate rematch in the post fight interview with Fergie Pacheco. We took it to Australia an Uncle finished Jeff’s career as he was never the same again. Jeff Fenech is a great lad by the way but he was the unfortunate beneficiary of what we had planned and cooked for that coward Barry McGuigan or as we called her Baroness McGiggle.
Well the WBC had the medical certificate not to talk of the symptoms before and during the fight and he was hospitalised. Uncle was not beaten and we felt he won but the judges gifted Fenech a draw so we settled it in the rematch in Fenech’s home town. Are you really trying to sell Fenech is better than the legendary Azumah Nelson who put him down 3 times and closed the show.
Uncle Azumah was wobbling around in the 12th round of the first fight like my uncle was last Christmas day. He spanked Jeffrey in the rematch like how my uncle used aswell.
The rematch happened very quickly after the first fight, it wasn't years later, I am old enough to have watched both fights live, the first in a pub, the 2nd in person at Carlton FC home ground, the old Princes Park. Fenech at worst won 9 of the 12 rounds in the Vegas fight and would have stopped Nelson if it was a 15 rounder. The thing is, if you watch Fenechs career fights, he became very blaise defensively. He was all out attack but earlier he at least put some emphasis on not getting knocked out. He was such an animal in the ring and so dominant, you can actually see his skills diminish as his career progresses. Unfortunately this came to a head in the rematch. He couldn't walk through 'The Professor' in the rematch, the way he had others.
I vividly remember walking to school past a billboard everyday in the lead up to. I think it was sponsored by tooheys and they had blue and red label as sort of contrast between the blue and red gloves on Uncle Azumah and Ziju Jeff.
Fenech clearly won that first fight you stupid **** Your entire post history is just black bias non stop, you don't even hide your constant racial bias, you mayweather wannabe clown.
