Not a huge puncher you're correct but Fenech also had bad hands towards the end of his career, and I think for a swarming type fighter who normally don't hit that hard with one punch. He hit respectable enough to make his opponent go into their shell, he did score 21 stoppages out of 28 wins which is respectable. And remember he was fighting some very durable fighters like Villasana who had a solid chin.
No he did not. You don’t understand how points. Bringing pressure does not mean you are winning especially when your opponent is blocking and most of the punches you throw are missing and he is accurate with his counter punching. One of the judges scored it like I did. Listen and learn sonny.
No he lost the first fight and got destroyed in the rematch when Nelson was 100%. Game set and match.
I know you're big fan of Nelson which is fine I like him alot aswell, but theres no way Nelson got a draw in their 1st fight he lost that fight 100 percent. I watched it again a few years ago and it was a clear 8-4 win for Fenech.
Nelson had no where near the power Inoue has - everyone is forgetting this. Also, Inoue doesn't need to chase the KO, it just happens. Completely different fighters. I have Inoue by points. Fenech is excellent but I see him losing a decision.
Nelson had good power and was also fighting against way tougher opposition than Inoue has. Juan LaPorte had one of the best chins of all time at lower weightclasses. Marcos Villasana is a very durable fighter that punches like a mule. And not too mention Salvador Sanchez, Wilfredo Gomez, Pernell Whitaker, Jeff Fenech.
Inoue has a very similar style to those fighters besides pea, great point. We'll never know though, the lower weights were full of killers.
Inoue is an exceptional talent don't get me wrong and he'd be a H2H nightmare for most great fighters of the past. But.....he hasn't beaten any top 10 P4P fighter and whilst he has beat one great fighter in Donaire, it certainly wasn't the same Donaire that was high in the P4P rankings back in 2011. Plus he was on the wrong side of 30 and had already been beaten multiple times. Good win for Inoue ? Yes. But I'd like to see him fight vs a real top fighter in their prime. Unfortunately Inoue didn't get to fight the likes of Estrada, Gonzalez, which would've been very good names for him plus they're great fighters.
I disagree with you but happy do a watch along with and tell how I was scoring the rounds as it went along. Bottomline Nelson was the better fighter.
Then explain to me why the fight was recently handed to Fenech. You and two corrupt judges are the only people who awarded that fight to Nelson (or gave him a draw). But yeah, I’m wrong? Sure I am idiotboy.
Because the WBC and its President are corrupt mother****ers that’s why. In the rematch Nelson left no doubt you stupid idiot.
The rematch is an entirely different fight idiotboy. I know that your feeble brain struggles but do try to concentrate on one thing at once.
