    Very sad story of Samart after the loss. He was so ashamed because he knew so many of his countrymen put money on him, that he went into a deep depression, moved into a temple and basically hid for years after the fight.

    Jeffrey done whooped him. Whooped him good.

    Samart joined a monastery & became a monk after this.

    Same thing Charlo will do after Timmy gets through with him.

    Samart was an incredible talent and probably the greatest overall striker of all time.

    That was Jeff Fenech's peak performance, he brutalized Payakaroon and wasn't the same fighter onwards.

    With that said Payakaroon was certainly a very talented fighter who seemed to successfully transition from muay thai to boxing before being too content with his success and less dedicated to his training. Just to give an idea of Samart's talents.
