Jeff Fenech was incredible against Victor Callejas

    That's pretty embarrassing, and I can't imagine it made Samart care too terribly much about his future in combat sports after being treated in such a way once he had finally "hit it big".

    You should watch him in Thai Kickboxing-simply incredible.

    Yeah, he is. There's a reason he's widely viewed as being the greatest Muay Thai fighter of all time.

    Payakaroon was a prodigious talent as a boxer, a rare mix of defensive wizardry and power. Like has been said, he was a party animal and rarely focused on his boxing career with his music one alongside it. He was heavily weight-drained and burnt out by the time of the Fenech fight and came up against the worst possible style from a great practitioner of it.

    I'm in with what's been said though, the Callejas fight was Jeff's finest hour. His defensive skill on the way in and the dip to consistently avoid Callejas's left hook before mauling the **** out of him at mid/close range was buzzing.
