Jeff Fenech - Your Honest Opinions of him

I was witness to Jeff Fenech's best ever fight and it was with his (ex) wife. He lost a wide points margin that day my friends, very funny I can guarantee

 

Great fighter
As a trainer i think he has been excellent outside the ring and lousy in it.
Outside the ring he's brought on, motivated and prepared some of the best we've seen in recent times.
However, inside the ring i think he get's far too emotional and rambles. He would have been far better off allowing Angelo Hyder(a calm and impressive cornerman) to take control of the corner and him being the assistant, but idon't think his ego would allow it.
When watching some of the title fights his charges fought, on a number of times i thought that if only Angelo was in the corner giving straight simple tactical instruction it could have been the difference, instead of Jeff whining, pleading and rambling.

Ive meet Jeff through Melissa at the boxing in Melbourne and he is so easy to talk to and down to earth very interesting to listen to also.He is a true Champ and inspiration to other boxers.

Noooo trouble at all just the truth thats all more people on here should start telling more of the truth rather than garbage..its the only very few though most have interesting stuff to say and read about. Go see the foxtel thread melis ..funny stuff.

Thats a pretty big call mate. I know a fair bit. Maybe it would be better he knows more then everyone excluding MSTR... BTW, Where the f*ck is WhataRock? haven't seen him around for a while.

 

Great post. Emmanuel Steward actually used him as an example in a book tht he wrote, regarding the heart of a champion. Basically said that Fenech was the perfect example that champions are made on the inside.

 

Plus you never talk bad about other boxers,i think his heart is in the right place. He loves aussie boxing!!!

And he doesnt bad mouth Mundine, he just asks him to step up, before and after each bum he fights.
