HIII HOWS IT GOING? I SOOO AGREE WITH YOU WHEN IT COMES TO JEFF AND ITS NICE TO SEE HE HAS SOME SUPPORT BEHIND HIM AS HE GETS BEHIND HIS BOYS AND AS SEEN IN ACTION AT A FEW FIGHTS HE STANDS OUT OF THE CROUD WITH HIS SUPPORT OVER POWERING EVERYONE WITH HIS VOICE I THINK HE IS A GREAT TRAINER.:thumbsup

Johnny Lewis (trainer of Fenech) was reported to of said that Fenech was one of the most loyal and trustworthy people he ever met in his life and would gladly die to save a friend. But on the darker side he could be one of the most cruelest and vicious person alive if someone really crossed him. :yikes

When i met Jeff Fenech he was actually a lovely bloke & took a photo with grandmother lol.
I chatted to him about boxing for a good 10 odd mins...this was back near 2000 odd now.

I badly want to watch the lead up to fenech - nelson 3 it was called "I love youse" (i think) and was a four part fly on the wall.

He came across as a nice guy and good coach in "the fight" documentary until the tyson debacle etc

    Jesus, your kidding aren't you?

I'm a huge fan of the man but that show was a half hour informercial filled with as many product placements as possible.

I was under the impression it was a version of 24/7 or 360 for the fight and had 3 or 4 episodes?

    Yeah, it was four episodes.

I was under the same assumption before it aired.

Because I'll watch anything to do with boxing (I even sat through Boxing Helena in the hope that a jab was going to turn up) but it remains the single worst "doco" I've ever seen.

Watch enthralled as Fenechs son Beau sits on the couch and plays a video game. For five minutes.

"Laugh" as Suzie decides she needs to mop the floor (despite being able to see your reflection in it) and then proceeds to mop 1 square foot of it while keping the bottle of detergent in frame at all times.

Listen as Jeff explains to his daughter about the incident with the watches.

I think at one stage he does a training session at Mick Gattos which was about the only thing of mild interest.

I have an episode of it somewhere I think. I'm not game to check.

That's a shame I thought fenech would have been Australias answer to floyd when you put a microphone in front of him.
