The guards weren't even being hostile. If they were being priqs and he was just being a priq back then I wouldn't have a problem but from what it looks like they were politely just doing their jobs. No matter how good of a boxer he was he's still just a little man out to prove himself

No mate not Carlos..........seriously was a 65 yr ol green grocer that fenech had an altercation with in his store when he was champ.

 

Oh, sorry, I thought you meant when he defended against the old boy Zarate and went ballistic when he thought he'd lost on e cut eye stoppage and was about to attack Zarate after the fight was stopped

 

I forgot about that one.......Ol Jeff had a few incidents over the years........remember when he tried to kick Grove I think in round 4 for getting punched on the bell........Grove certainly got the last laugh there.

 

Maybe he should have taken up MMA as his kicking skills may have come in handy. I seem to recall being at the Nelson rematch and Jeff trying to knee Azumah in the nuts towards the end of one particular round. Nelson got the last laugh there, too

p s in the late 80's Grove was asked if he was interested in fighting Fenech and his reply was "you serious? You wanna get me killed?". I think it shows how far down he'd gone by the time they did fight

Yeah, that Mosley debacle had to hurt. Hopefully, he reserved a 1 fight option on Shane in the event of a cancellation.

 

His options went back to America on a plane after they breached their contract....
