Jeff Harding v Dennis Andries I (One of the best of the past 30)

Hi Russell, Harding may have been the bravest Aussie fighter I have seen. He was never very gifted but his toughness and fitness took him way further than anyone here expected. A lot of Aussie fight fans used to reckon that Jeff was nicknamed " the hitman " due to his porous defence and the amount of punishment he typically absorbed in a fight.

Jeff was homeless at one stage and has had a very difficult and public battle with alcoholism. Evidently he is doing much better these days.

Watched all 3 fights between these guys, I think they brought out the best in each other. I picked Dennis to win the first, harding the rematch and andries for the rubber match. Can't win em all!!
