What on earth are you talking about?

Malignaggi has been active and fought at the start of the year.

Horn is clearly looking for a 'big name' which will sell tickets in Australia whilst also raising his profile more for a bigger fight in the future.

The guy took the Pac fight with no experience of fighting top 15 guys....

Give him a break.

Horn knows that he's on borrowed time. He don't have nothing for those elite gents at 147 and he knows that too. He is gonna skate for as long as he can. However, a beat down is in the future and I will have a ring side seat to watch boxing re-right itself and atone that horrible decision against Pac.

Horn lost a fight to Pac, the fight was almost stopped, he was almost knocked out, but the judges were corrupt! The only was Horn can beat a legit fighter is to bring a baseball bat into the right and still he would get his dirty arse beaten!

Which clear rounds would you give to Pac to make him the undisputed winner of that match? I'm completely perplexed at the non stop cries of robbery at this result, I think Horn beat Pacquiao more definitively than Kovalev beat Ward in the first match, and I thought Kovalev won.

Pac couldn't muster much more than light flurries with his butt sat on the ropes, waiting for the bell and clearly counting on having enough points banked (factoring in "reputation bonus" and the Arum factor)

I knww Horn had a solid right (the southpaw killer) and I agree that the kd's he suffered against Funeka and Bailey had mitigating circumstances, Funeka more so because it was indeed due to a headbutt. And, honestly, suffering an equilibrium shot against the KO King isn't a big deal and actually proves your resilience when you come back to win. I still figured that Manny, as the A side, might get the nod in some of the closer rounds and picked him by UD as a result. But I figured Horn would give it a go, make it to the final bell and perform a lot better than most expected.

As for my card, I called it a draw in terms of rounds, and 114-113 Pac because I gave the 9th to him by a 10-8 margin. But, you can get to seven for Horn, I think...and even with a 10-8 round seven is all you need to justify his win.

I had it Horn 115-113, and I hated Pac for not being able to finish a gassed Horn in round 9. I think team Pac underestimated Horn way too much too. They should, of all people, know just how past it Pac was, so they should've prepared for ugly fights like this. Unforgivable.

R1 10-9 Horn Horn somewhat awkward, Manny off not adapted yet, Horn aggressive knocks mouthpiece out.
R2 10-9 Pacquiao Close. Horn being aggressive young and strong. Not a lot landing. Lot of clinching. Pacquiao landed a good left hand so I'll give it to him. Could use more infighting. Pacquiao slightly better at timing this round. Trying to counter punch.
R3 10-9 Pacquiao landing more cripser shots. Horn still trying but being more cautious easing up his pressure.
R4 10-9 Pacquiao figured him out and is outlanding him whenever Horn moves in. Conditioning may play a factor late in the fight, also Horn is noticeably bigger.
R5 10-9 Pacquiao teeing off like he did against Alghieri, throwing less landing more doubling connects.
R6 10-9 Pacquiao Good uppercut and smothering of Pacquiao on the ropes by Horn. Accidental clash of heads and bleeding from Manny down his chest from his scalp. Wow, he's bleeding a lot. Pacquiao lulled into a false sense of security and Horn lands two good quick shots. Mostly Pac playing the matador though.
R7 10-9 Pacquiao Another headbutt, another cut. They are so awkward that this is getting messy. Pacquiao landing way more but his face is a bloody mask. He looks like a gored bull.
R8 10-9 Pacquiao Pacquiao punch pushed Horn down not ruled a knockdown.
R9 10-9 Pacquiao Pacquiao is swinging for the fences smelling blood chasing Horn around the ring. Nice. That eye of Horn's is bleeding and doesn't look good. Love it!
R10 10-9 Pacquiao Pacquiao is tired and taking the round off after expending all that energy. I'm not sure if I should give it to him even though Horn didn't do much either.
R11 10-10 Even More headlocks than punches land.
R12 10-9 Horn Horn outhustling Pac.

I had it 118 to 110 Pacquiao. It was a total robbery. It was not a close fight. I gave Jeff the first round which was close and the sixth round which was clear. Pac clearly won rounds 2,3,4,5, 9. I thought he marginally won 7, 11 and 12 and edged the 10th. There were five clear to dominant rounds for Pac. 3 that he won marginally. 1 he edged. 1 clear for Jeff and 1 he edged. It is a robbery. I am glad that Teddy got pissed. I am glad that Stephen A got pissed. It does not matter that Manny did not live up to expectations or that Horn exceeded them. Or that Pac looked a bit older and slower. You have to leave that out of the equation and just score the rounds. Boxing is corrupt.

I watched it with Russian commentary so I wasn't poisoned by Atlas.
I felt Horn probably beat Pac - didn't score properly. Too hurt seeing Pac this diminished lol.
Compubox may say Pac was more accurate, but that doesn't actually tell you much at all...you have to watch the rounds yourself to notice how unimportant it is, and also how hard it is for compubox to accurately get this one.

Pac is shot. Horn is actually a good fighter and I will like to see more from him. He was big. Remember the Pac of 2009-2010? He dominated elite welterweights. How far he's fallen, starting at the Mosley fight.
