For the record... Corcoran is a natural LIGHT MIDDLEWEIGHT, and has fought there for the last 4 years, who came down in weight. He was fighting a Welterweight in Horn, who had a very hard time making 147, he had to drop 8 pounds the day before the weigh in. That right there is kind of the perfect recipe for a match between two guys who gas halfway through.

Corcoran has lost once, to Liam Williams, in a damn close match at the time of the 10th round stoppage. Who fought on even terms with Liam Smith for two matches, and arguably won both. Corcoran is around Liam Smith level fighter. All in all, for a guy who was half dead from making weight fighting a bigger guy, not a bad performance.

Australia is a backwater of boxing and has no integrity at all.

This makes no sense at all. You give credit to Horn for dropping weight and no credit to Corcoran who had to drop even more weight.

I don't think you understood his post.

He's saying Corcoran was cutting down to welterweight, and Horn for this particular weigh-in happened to have trouble making weight and had to lose a lot specifically in a short time. It wasn't about giving credit to one and depriving the other. He was making the point, as he explicitly said, that it was a recipe for both men to gas out midway.

It makes perfect sense, Corcoran gassed halfway through because he probably shouldn't have been fighting at 147, and Horn gassed halfway through, because he had a ****ed up training camp and didn't cut down to 147 properly, so he gassed as well. They were both basically drained Light Middleweights in there tonight or this morning for us.

Don't count on it. Horn won't get 147 again. He's going to 154.

    The former WBO Intercontinental champ.

(new one is Sammy Valentín as of last month, guess Corcoran vacated to challenge Horn)

'All in all, for a guy who was half dead from making weight fighting a bigger guy, not a bad performance.'

This is what I was referring to. You give Horn credit for the victory because he was 'half dead from making the weight'. Well by that logic Corcoran was full dead, he had more weight to lose.

I'm sleepy, but I spruced up my original post a little. Added a word or two and some punctuation.
