Based on the one time having difficulties ahead of a voluntary tuneup he probably wasn't 1/100th as "up for" as his previous bout? Eh, let's wait and see. Horn is a large welter, always has been, and has always come in just a shade under the limit (by ½ or at most ¾lbs) literally his entire career. Just once did he come over the welter limit, versus Aswin Cabuy, and he was 151½.

Exactly, all he needs to do is show up in Vegas and he's guaranteed $$$$$$$$$$. He can show up a stone over the limit and lose his title on the scales, as long as Crawford is still willing to fight him (can't imagine he wouldn't be), then game on. He still gets paid, minus whatever fee Crawford's team asks for.

You're missing the nuance here. Corcoran has fought at both light middle and welter. Lots of boxers vacillate between two divisions, ofttimes their "natural" division and then one either up or down from there. His last two victories before this were at welter. Corcoran didn't have to cut any weight, really. CST was saying he's a natural light middleweight, hence the bigger man, which he is, but one that has comfortably made welter before. He wasn't drained. Corcoran had a full camp to make weight at his leisure, gradually.

Horn for whatever reason, had struggles making the weight, and had to shed 8lbs in a very short amount of time.

The eleventh is just a cursed round for Gary Corcoran. TKO'ed by Williams and now Horn, and didn't Ekundayo nearly kayo him in the eleventh as well?

Either 11th or 12th. I forgot which one, I know he got rocked in one of them.

    Good win for Horn.

I thought Corcoran presented a decent challenge.

I had it all square after 6, but gave Horn 7 through 10.

He was certainly in control by the time of the stoppage.

Thought the stoppage itself was perhaps premature but if it was a case of the ref recognising the corner's wishes, then fair enough.

In the end I thought Horn out-toughed a big tough welter, so good result for him.

They need to get Crawford out to Australia to give him a decent chance.

I was concerned with him having to cut that amount in 24 hrs but he still remains a threat to anyone who is brave enough to sign the contract at 147. The guy is tough as nails and fights like a lion protecting his only meal

Horn's scrappy mugging tactics will give any welter problems including Crawford. Not sure what Crawfords power is like at 147 but he'll need pop to deal with this guy.

He didn't sound too enthusiastic about fighting Crawford in Vegas but he's be better off cutting to stay at welter cos the tacticians at 154 like Brook , Charlo , Lra will surgically strip the flesh off his bones.
