Jeff Horn's stock has just gone way up

sStyles make fights, and while I think Horn would maul and stop Ali, and Horn could possibly KO this version of Cotto as well.

Ali had Cotto's number stylistically, I over the last few days started getting that Pac-Horn ominous cherry pick gone wrong feeling, because Cotto has always struggled with slick elusive movers, and with fast fighters, Ali is both of those things. So my immaculate upset-dar was going off, but due to Ali's struggles with Perez recently and the Vargas loss, I didn't want to push my luck and I hesitated. Dammit.

Anyway, its just that Ali, is fast and slick, and hit hard enough to give Cotto pause, it has nothing to do with Pac, Horn or Vargas.

 

Well think about it this way, I'm a renowned Cotto hater, had I said I was starting to have doubts, and the result you and I both thought would happen still came to pass, I'd have been attacked by Cotto fanboys, and possibly ended up with egg on my face, it wasn't worth the risk, so I kept my mouth shut.

 

I almost did the same thing with my Horn prediction, but... I had a hell of a lot more faith in that result happening like around 70%, than this one. So I bit the bullet and took that massive risk. But with Ali, my faith only reached about 49%, it wasn't enough for me to open up my mouth.

 

Not really, at least Wlad looked terrible in the Jennings fight. Manny looked brilliant in the Bradley and Vargas matches though. I based it off styles, and saw that Horn had the style to be an issue. I thought Fur would be a huge issue as well, but like with Ali tonight, I thought he chin would eventually betray him and that Wlad would land a bomb to get him out of there.
