Just when you think he can't get any worse...

"Danny Garcia, who knocked Khan off his perch with a left hook from hell, appears willing to risk the lengthy odds of him landing that sucker punch again in a rematch"

All I could think about was how easy it would've been for Garcia to connect last night, even with the impressive flurries.

He is an absolute Khan-licker of the lowest order. How can the Daily Mail pay him for such biased drivel? (Perhaps the answer is self-explanatory:patsch)

His bleating over Peterson(before the testosterone) was a joke too.If I remember right his scorecard was diabolical.

He is a cretin that knows **** all, yet he is a writer for a respected newspaper, what chance has the sport got when this dickhead is a spokesman for it?

Unfortunately there's very few decent boxing journalists in Britain at the moment. Colin Fart and Meff Powell are terrible and have bias' for and against certain fighters.

Steve Bunce blows hot and cold, one minute I'll agree with him 100%, the next I'll be thinking "what a ****ing idiot he is".

One journo/pundit I do like is John Rawling. Good fella who gives thoughtful and honest opinions. Gareth A. Davies comes out with some shite occasionally too but overall I think he's alright.

Out of all the things, when there's something ridiculous a reporter is writing about Khan instead of hugging his nuts, is there not a thread made, but when it's one who is pro-Khan, there are threads made?

Same old ****. Get over it and move your sad story along.

You really watched that fight last night and think there's long odds of Garcia landing a "sucker punch" (Says it all really)

You used to be one of the better and most respected Khan fans Laz,but now you go on the defensive for the slightest little thing.Seems to be a recurring(albeit recent) theme with you nowadays.
It was a ridiculous statement from Powell and if you don't like my thread, get tae **** off it.

It's brutal stuff, but all he's doing is tapping into his target audience's mindset.

Most people believe that Garcia hit Khan with a lucky shot, he's got to structure his articles to suit.

Much like Buncey, a raging Hayelord one minute, in bed with Allegedly the next.

Nothing new here. A lof of British journos -- and TV pundits -- are ridiculously bias towards their own fighters.

No, that's just what you're making up in your mind. Khan was no different, and Garcia would have had his way.

What I am saying is, when there's other ridiculous stuff that comes up time and time again, why aren't threads made on that? Things that are much more ludicrous than what he's said. This is nothing but an opinionated pro-Khan journalist who is saying what he wants.

No reason for you to cry over it. I was merely highlighting the hypocrisy when it comes to some things.

And my whole point was that the statement was so ridiculous that it should not have been passed fit for publication in such a widely read paper.
It is inaccurate and without foundation, which is my problem when it comes to sports reporting.
It is totally misleading to a casual boxing fan,and Powell should not be allowed to be so blatantly biased at the expense of accurate reporting.
I've said plenty of positive things about Khan since yesterday(eg,he deserved a confidence building fight and I hoped he won as I think he'd be a loss to the sport had he lost and retired) so let's not get our wires crossed.

TV pundits are a different matter.Agendas are clearly an unavoidable fact.
To say the odds are long of Garcia landing a "sucker punch" is more suited to the front page of The Star.

I wouldn't say lenghy odds but I do think if Khan boxes instead of brawls he'd beat Garcia in a rematch.

Wouldn't surprise me if he gets suckered into a tear up and knocked out again though.

You just know Garcia is gonna throw that hook time and time again.
