Jeff Lacy gets Underrated Big Time!

A lot of people fail to realize this fact. He tore his left rotator cup and he fought with one arm in the Typsko match. After the surgery, his left hook was no more.

 

I never rated him that highly and neither did quite a few posters around here. I remember thinking of him as very exciting,but flawed, and more like an Evander Holyfield type fighter instead of Tyson.... Someone who would fight a lot of exciting fights at the world class level but also lose some in the process, but even that never came true. He was never the same after Calzaghe. :-(

 

By the way, I never thought his "Left Hook" nickname suited him. It's clear that his best punch was actually that big looping overhand right of his. I actually remember seeing have more KO's with the right than the left.

 

:huhthats strange cuz i saw an underrated great fighter outclass and outbox an overrated fighter untill he looked stupid:huh

 

He never had a hook in the first place.
