Lacy is extreme damaged goods since losing to Joseph Calzaghe..

I dont see him as dangerous as i did before that fight.. an absolute shadow of his former self..

I thought Lacy was going to get ko'd the first time i ever saw him fight.
Thats why I keep watching him. He's good for the sport .

Jermain Taylor will win by stoppage. He is just a better fighter than Lacy all round. Lacy looked good knocking out bums for a couple of years, but both in the Calzaghe fight and in his 3 fights since, he has been exposed as a very limited fighter, I don't think the guy is a world class boxer at all. Anyone with a boxing brain would trounce him.

And the sun is coming up tomorrow.

  7. Taylor UD, Lacy took a bad beating against Calzaghe but he has had 2+ years to recover from that, Taylor took a worse beating from Pavlik, so he's not a fresh daisy either, im looking foward to this match..

I'm looking forward to winning a lot of money on this fight. I just hope it doesn't get cancelled or anything like that.

Lacy has an iron chin. I see him losing but not by KO.

Taylor was headed for ATG, until he ran into Pavlik. Taylor is in a complete different league than Lacy, and I agree, Lacy will get knocked out for the first time, ending his career. I think Taylor should go back to Steward. Together, they almost destroyed Pavlik.

It's too early for the odds but i'm sure it will be heavily in Taylor's favor. I'm going to place some on him winning overall and him winning by KO. I might even put in some money for him to KO Lacy around rounds 8-10.

Huh? More like Stewad almost destroyed Taylor. It was obvious that for whatever reasons, they were not getting along and the improvements were not showing. Look what Ozell did with JT in his first fight as trainer against Pavlik 2. JT looked more polished than he had ever been before. Maybe most of that credit goes to him waking up for the first time because of the KO loss but there was a huge improvement in his technical skills in Pavlik 2. If Taylor had more stamina, he might've won the fight. If this version of JT shows up, he should finish Lacy with no problems.

There are two ways that Taylor can lose this fight....

    1) Jeff Lacy nails him with the "Hail Mary" shot of his career and KOs him. ( Otherwise known as the puncher's chance )

    or

    2) Taylor gets reckless and gasses himself out going for a knockout but failing to get one.

I think Taylor has learned his lesson from Pavlik. He'll go for a knockout if he manages to hurt Jeff Lacy, but he won't risk losing in order to get one. Taylor by a wide UD.
