Who is better actually, Jeff Lacy, or the texan prospect with ten fights who beats Nick Díaz ridiculously in a sparring session?...

 

That's what I'm thinking. Poor Jeff, but damn I'd pick him too, big musclular dude, former champ, totally shot, lack of power that made him a beltholder.

 

Jeff Lacy is not a good fighter, but his experience alone should be enough...

Can this Diaz box? I don't mind if he beats Lacy because then he can set up a big fight with Martinez or Pavlik.

 

Martinez would embarrass him badly, but Pavlik would seriously hurt this guy.

Then the Lacy vs Díaz can be and interesting match.I dont know how shot is Jeff actually, the last fight of him that I remember is the one with Roy Jones, and sure, he looked bad, but the guy of that fight can murder Díaz in a few rounds.

Lacy is done. I don't know enough about Diaz but can his boxing ability really be much worse than Dhafir Smith, who not only beat Lacy but nearly shut him out on the scorecards?
