Jeff Lacy V Epifanio Mendoza, tonight.

Mendoza needs to throw more of those straight rights. Or should i say looping rights to the top of the head.

They are both spent lol.

 

His punches are coming back to him a little better... and his timing. He looked like he had absolutely no snap against Manfredo. Lacy will never be hard to hit... he used to just wade in on his opponents and eventually impose his will. His conditioning used to be better though, and he would start slow and finish very strong. I think he is coming along nicely after his surgery.

 

Mendoza is sleep walking and Lacy can't get this guy outta here.

 

If Taylor is watching this fight, he has to like what he sees.

 

Do you think he can win a title at 168 or above?

 

Lacy looks horrible.. his timing does too. Hopefully he wins though, it would be sad to see him miss the Taylor payday.

 

Word. Taylor/Lacy needs to happen.

 

He doesn't look great to be honest, though this is a great fight.

 

If he can get his conditioning back, I don't see why not. He isn't going to beat Calzaghe, but he can still beat good fighters.

 

The least horrible he's looked since Calzaghe though .

 

On the other side, wouldn't it be awesome for a guy like Mendoza to score the upset and maybe get a payday?
