Lacey had a good chance against Collins before he met Joe Calzaghe
Joe took his soul and after that fight Lacey might go 6 to 7 rounds wtth Collins
There are two Laceys Pre Calzaghe and post Calzaghe
Post Calzaghe your nan would beat him on points

 

I think Lacy get miscast as a bum who was overhyped and exposed when he fought Calzaghe. I think it is a disservice to Calzaghe who was one of the few that was just good enough (great) to expose and take advantage of those flaws.

Collins should win in hindsight, but I don’t expect him to humiliate Lacy like Joe did.

I agree. Another reason for his sharp decline was a major shoulder injury that bothered him until the end of his career.

 

Collins is as tough as they come. I think he takes this on a TKO

 

Lacy was an incredible amateur.

 

Collins beats him up.

 

It wouldn't be a blowout. But, at their bests, I just can't see any scenario in which Lacy wins.
