i mean...the book had been closed on the guy awhile ago....but still hes 3 years older than me...i remember being at winkys fight against sam soliman....and i bumped into lacy and took a pic....this was a few months before the calzaghe fight...the guy was in great shape and spirits..he looked young..... i saw a pic of him from his recent weigh in yesterday...and i barely recognized him....he looks like hes got the bobby brown coke jaw goin or something....this guy must be on drugs or something....man i can remember him walking into the arena before the calzaghe fight...lookin mean...with a nice lookin girl on his arm...jprince being the hyepman.... this guy must be broke, disinterested, and on drugs or something....the guy lost tonight to a guy with 19 losses....in st pete...and the scores were fairly wide.....anybody hear/know anything about how his life has been over the last year or so?

Calzaghe's legacy continues to crumble. However, you have to feel for the guy. At one point he was being ridiculously hyped for a few short months, and then he is losing to clubfighters and F-level tomato cans.
Lacy beat several good B class fighters before his loss to Calzaghe. I think what it boils down to is he was, in his prime, an A- fighter at best, and he's never been the same since the injury and surgery to his arm. His whole game was that vicious left hook. Once it was taken out of his arsenal, he just doesn't seem to have much to fall back on.
