Does anyone know who and when Jeff is scheduled to fight next? I know he's coming off a few lackluster performances but after the shoulder injury and a year of inactivity he deserves a little slack. I think at this point in time the best thing for him would be to get back in there a little more frequently to get the confidence and skills back up to par.

Regardless of what people say, he's still a top 10 SMW and can give most in the division trouble. Still a hell of a puncher, has a great chin and when he lets his hands go he can be a force. Anyone have any news on him?

I'm afraid I think Lacy is done - Manfredo made him look bad on the Hatton vs PBF undercard.

It would definately be an exciting fight. I'm not sold on Miranda's chin, though. He's been hurt quite a few times, I think it's more his will to win and heart that keeps him going than his chin, Eastman even had him buzzed.

The question in the fight would be whether Miranda could back up Lacy or not. Physically Lacy would be a lot stronger than Miranda, and he uses that strength advantage in the trenches to wear down his man. Lacy is a pretty good fighter on the inside where Miranda needs a little more distance to get his shots off.

If Miranda could back Jeff up it could get interesting and he would definately check Jeff's chin if he caught him, but I don't know if Pantera could handle getting backed up and muscled around in there.

I am hoping that Lacy comes out better than he did his last fight. I am a huge Lacy fan, and it was sad to see how much different he was since his shoulder surgery. I am hoping that he has worked the kinks out, and comes back like he used to.

Lacy was interested in a fight with Miranda, so much he was in the stands during the fight with Banks. But as Miranda stated in a recent interview, after the fight Lacy wouldnt even look him in the eye. He says the KO of Banks scared Lacy out of the stadium!

i think he will come back stronger. The Manfredo fight was just a tuneup imo. Long layoff, surgery to the shoulder, of course he will not be impressive his first fight back.

The Lacy-Manfredo fight panned out exactly like i expected it to, not so much because Lacy is **** as much as i knew he would be rusty.

Calzaghe ruined Jeff for life. Same as Wlad ruined Peter, Byrd, Brock, Brewster, etc, etc.

Of course... how can you blame him for being scared of the man who dethroned the amazing David Banks? That's nonsense.

Naa... Calzaghe layed one on him, but Jeff's big problem right now is his shoulder. Jeff looked GREAT in the first couple rounds of his return fight after Joe beat him. However, he suffered a full thickness tear in his shoulder at that point in the fight, and has not looked the same since.

    It`s true.
The same effect on Prince Naseem Hamed after his Barrera beating. He fought couple times after that fight but was never the same.
Shame Jeff Lacy didnt make more money in the sport but thats just the way it goes.
Thankfully B.Hop has made his fortune.
