Please pick your favorite fight from the great career of the Kentucky Heavyweight Champ. Give us a good analysis of the action. And where do you rank him in all-time Kentucky heavyweights? Appreciate the man, the myth, the fighter.
I made it a while back... https://www.boxingforum24.com/threads/scott-frank-appreciation-thread.511409/
Jeff Lally was recently outsmarted in a Diggstown style boxing match. Jeff wants to hit me because he’s dating my ex-girlfriend. He bet $1,000 that I couldn’t last 3 minutes with him in a fight (he would only use his left hand). I eagerly agreed to this match and started to set the fight rules. I requested “No 3 Knockdown Rule”. Jeff quickly agreed without realizing he had just lost the bet. I would take 18-19 knees in the 3 minutes of action. He would be sent to a neutral corner for each knockdown as I took a 9 count. It is a brilliantly designed boxing con. Jeff isn’t the brightest crayon in the box, but then again neither am I. As you can clearly see, I won the side bet hands down - pun intended. Jeff Lally is now refusing to pay me, even after I donated $500 of the thousand as charity back to Jeff himself. If anyone sees Jeff be sure to tell him “PAY JASON”. Jeff, if you see this before paying me I say, “PAY ME”. You lost fair and square, and you know this. You messed around with a superior strategist. That happens in life, especially when you are Jeff Lally - 4th best heavyweight from Louisville. Pay me, Jason Smith
Lots of names I recognize on his record. I also noticed a Reggie Strickland on there. Not THE Reggie Strickland with the famously bad record, but another Reggie Strickland with a really bad record. https://boxrec.com/en/box-pro/25171
