I think Broner will be a star, but I don't know if he will reach Mayweather's level of superstardom.

I remember people laughing hard when Mayweather was considered a candidate to being boxing's biggest superstar after DLH back in 2006. "Mayweather can't draw flies to ****!", "His style is boring, no way in hell!", "The crowd leaves after round 3!", "Margarito is the most feared man since Hagler, don't believe it?, watch his fights with Lujan and Andrew 'Six Heads Zero Chins Lewis' for further details". Then after 2007 "Hatton attracted all PPV numbers, no way in hell Mayweather sells" and the classic in 2009 "Marquez sold all PPV numbers against Mayweather". I wouldn't be surprised one bit if Broner makes it that far as long as he keeps securing his 0. His style seems to be casual fan friendly too which should make things easier for him.

If that includes taking a couple losses along the way, he may be right. I'll be the 1st to say, Broner will not be able to stand in front of the banger's at 140 like he did Saturday.

Broner without a top drawer named opponent can't draw flies.Less than 3,000 paid in AC.Freebee tickets being handed out-it's all HBO hype at this point.
The kid can fight though,at a certain level.

the difference is ODLH passed the torch on to Mayweather just like he did to Pacquiao, but who is Broner going to beat to get that kind of recognition? he might become a solid ppv fighter like Cotto but not to the Mayweather/Pacquiao level

Wheres the hate fopr Broner coming from.

Hes 23, is a 2 weight world champion, fights regularly and wants to fight the big fights.

Why is it so out of the question that it can in be a superstar in a few years?
