A parent that gives every material thing to their child and especially without making them struggle for it is very bad parenting, period. I've known plenty of orphans who though they are very haunted by their experiences, are very confident and proud because they went from rags to riches out of tough struggles. Floyd on the other hand probably has had a very hard time explaining his pain because all of his relatives laughed in his face and told him how easy he's had it; but in reality they are probably in deep denial for not being there for Floyd's early childhood themselves. God gave Floyd his present gifts and opportunities because only God and maybe Floyd really understand
Thats not the point, no one is saying that its a bad thing to have not struggled. The point is Floyd acts like alot of schoolboys do, Im from the ghetto, life was tough blah blah blah because apparently, according to hip hop culture (something Floyd is a big fan of), its cool to come from the ghetto and have had a rough life. Jeff saying he didnt have it rough proves hes a fake and should stop acting like a kid trying to sound cool by saying he was from the ghetto. Most people from the ghetto and gotten out of it actually dont like to brag about it.
I think the point about him never having a bad day is that Floyd is portraying a false image of himself.
humble and honest doesnt make up for his lack of success in boxing. why do roger, floyd sr, or floyd jr need to be humble? was Ali humble? and how are they not honest?
Im sure if Floyd, Gozman and DLH were in his stable he would be "successful". He did a good job with Forbes, he did break DLH's face by the way.:hey
I'm sure that if Floyd, Guzman and DLH were in jeffs stable they wouldnt stay with him for very long. If he wasnt a "mayweather" he wouldnt even have a training job. he hates on floyd jr but floyd jr is the one who is building the mayweather legacy, jeff is just riding off the mayweather name
how do you know that? Forbes did much better against DLH than most people though, hell he stood and traded more than Fraud and broke the mofos face. But thats all beside the point of my initial statement. Jeff is the only likeable Mayweather, the only one who is humble and honest - thats as clear as day my friend.
yeah its a boxing skills contest and jeff is not in the same league as the other mayweathers. but thats not even what this thread is about. this thread is about uncle jeff putting down his nephew because he doesnt like floyds freshy lifestyle and disagrees about his upbrining. you dont hear floyd jr taking shots at jeff for being a shitty fighter and trainer. this interview has been posted a shitload of times, jeff will say anything to get noticed.
Jeff is not the attention ***** type, very soft spoken and humble - especially compared to Roger, Floyd I and II. You can downplay honesty and humility all you want, but being a good person still matters to some people and Im glad to see the Mayweather family has at least one.
