Jeff Mayweather thinks Conor McGregor likely beats Floyd in the UFC

Which boxer would we give the best chance of beatinf Conor in the octagon without any mma training? I think Spence has a good chance at decapitating him coming in.

 

Golovkin. He's got an actual wrestling background which trumps (against an MMA guy) any minor advantages another boxer might have in the boxing department. And before people complain about weights Conor won a belt at 155 lb, a whisker away from 160lb.

 

Floyd wouldn't "likely" lose. He'd lose, embarrassingly.

 

Well atleast he' down to earth, you ask floyd he'd probably tell you the same, you ask Floyd's dad and he'd probably tell you that he would knock McGregor out in less than 20 seconds with one hand tied behind his back blindfolded while being tasered. I think boxers have a better chance coming to fight in mma than mma guys have coming to the ring, typically ends with the boxer landing a one punch knock out or them being choaked out or getting their legs kicked off, but McGregor looked ridiculous getting in the ring with floyd

 

We had the equivalent of a top swimmer taking on a tri-athlete in a swimming contest, and now we might see the equivalent of them competing in a triathlon. Guess who wins this time around?!

 

I think GGG or canelo would k.o. him in one round, they both definitely have the power to just like when ray mercer knocked out mma champ Tim Silva in I think it was 9 seconds. Or when Shannon Briggs one punch knocked out the heavyweight kickboxing champ.

I could actually see Conor getting knocked out by Floyd in the UFC due to his awful stamina. If Conor had good low kicks he'd destroy Floyd, but his low kicks are garbage. Somebody like Nate, who has an endless gas tank, iron chin, and top level BJJ would be a much bigger threat to Floyd.

When I was living in Vietnam I used to spar with a colleague of mine as he was the only friend nearby who was into combat sport aswell.

He has a background in Muay Thai and I tell you what, with no previous experience of defending from leg kicks it was a nightmare.

MMA guys batter boxers in the octagon, Mercer was a one-off. If they don't kick the **** out of you then they can take you down. Nothing more useless than a boxer on his back.

 

Yeah you def want punchers if you're going to want someone to take groundwork out of the equation.

 

I hate most MMA fans so that'd be a sorry sight for me. Knuckleheads the world over would be swinging their tapout tees round trying to give boxing fans ****
