30sec and Mayweather would be destroyed in the cage. No chance there. I mean try it. Go to your local gym, ask a MMA guy to make a short sparring session with you and try to knock him out. No chance. Without any background in grappling/BJJ/LL/Wrestling or Kickboxing/Muay Thai you are having exactly 0% chances of defeating a regular MMA fighter as a boxer. Mayweather will try to land a jab and he would find himself on the knees in a triangle arm bar.

Then there's the whole thing where they agreed to have a gentleman's agreement and stand. Sylvia threw a lazy low kick which Mercer countered with and overhand. Mercer was choked out by Slice one of the worst big name MMA fighters ever in a matter of a minute. 9/10 times a trained MMA fighter will beat a striker without any cross training in MMA. Simple as that.

No boxer around his weight would stand a chance with him in the octagon. It would last as long as conor wanted it to last. It really shouldn't be for discussion. Unless the boxer had at least 2 years preparation they would get destroyed on the mat. If someone like ggg had fought conor in the square circle he woulda sparked conor in the first couple rounds also.

Floyd proved he was in better fighting condition when he beat Conor and I feel he would also beat him in the octagon. People that think Conor is stronger than Floyd are wrong.

I actually prefer boxing over mma by a long way but the sight of Floyd getting strangled would amuse me.

Would love to see Golovkin or Canelo vs McGregor in MMA.

Conor probably kicks their legs in before taking them down and submitting them.. but they can put his lights out with 1 punch,

Either gets taken down and subbed/pounded out or gets his knees ****ed up for good with a few oblique kicks.

If Floyd steps into the Octagon and wins, it's because the opponent took a dive for a MASSIVE pay day.

Haha. That is a possibilty though. How often does Conor actually win his fights on the ground? He usually wins whilst upright from punches and as we know he ain't no boxer.

Floyd prob just heard he get put in a rear naked choke hold by a man, got confused as to what that meant and then took up an interest in mma.

I could see Dana White giving Floyd a 155 lb version of C.M. Punk just to give him an Octagon win. This cross over stuff involving Floyd is nothing more than a shell game to rob the casuals and line the pockets of the pig controllers even more.

There is still time, perhaps they will do it before the GGG/Cucknelo rematch just to sabotage it's buys once again.

I am a fan of both even though I was a boxer and boxing fan from a young age. Unlike most who are mainly boxing or just mma fans im able to appreciate each for what they are but you clearly must have forgot all tge **** put on mma fans afer the Conor vs Mayweather fight rom hardcore boxing fans and all those old media guys from boxing who have always had negative views of mma. Conor as an 0-0 fighter did better then alot of Mayweathers previous opponents and easily did better then Floyd ever would in a cage despite all the **** being talked afterwards.

Floyd won fair and square but DID NOT carry conor who was never going to get a fair shake from the boxing judges who scored most of those early rounds to Floyd somehow despite Conor winning at least 3 rounds and that referee just waiting to jump in and stop the fight at the 1st chance he got.
