Jeff is coming to beat Beterbiev and shock the world of boxing.

Not many boxing fans know anything about Jeff Page Jr, that could change after tonights fight.

Page Jr has a solid amateur background and so far amassed a record of 15-0(10 KO's) as a professional. He has good all round boxing skills and i expect him to fight fire with fire against Beterbiev and expose a lot of flaws in him.

Win or lose, boxing fans will be impressed with Page Jr in this fight and don't be surprised if he pulls of the upset of the year.

Too much over hyping of Beterbiev.

Jeff is still only 24 years old and has fought some decent lower level opposition so far, he didn't need to fight Beterbiev but him and his team are so confident about winning that they took the fight without any hestitation.

Beterbiev is just a stepping stone for Jeff, after tonights fight the world will know that Page Jr is a serious player at Light Heavyweight.

"Jeff Page Jr will shock Artur Beterbiev tonight."

...by the ease under which his jaw implodes at the slightest caress of Beterbiev's fists?

I'm sure Artur will be shocked...on the inside. But show nothing. 8)

His amateur career was something like 70-10.

    These are the hightlights:

2012 National Golden Gloves (201 lbs.)

    • 2008 National Golden Gloves (178 lbs.)

    • 2007 Junior National Golden Gloves Champion
    • 2007 Junior Olympics Runner Up

As for a prediction for tonights fight, Jeff has to keep the fight long for the first 5 rds and try to sneak a round here and there. If he can make it into the second half of the fight i expect him to step up the energy and try to win a close decision by jabbing, moving and not allowing Beterbiev to get any kind of rhythm or timing.

If Page Jr. sticks to his gameplan then i will say he wins a SD points victory tonight.

his not over hyped his the biggest p4p amateur puncher of all time, huge for his weight and strong as an ox and technically excellent

confident or stupidity? remember Cloud said before the fight he said he couldn't believe GYM were feeding him there top prospect and it would be easy work. Fast forward less than 4 minutes later and his nose and jaw are broke and his concussed:lol:

he was a pretty low level amateur, USA are a poor boxing nation in amateurs and he couldn't even win a national championship

my opinion is he gets knocked out,

if he tries and fights beterbiev he will be knocked out in 1-2 rounds, if he runs 5-6 max

his career will be over beofre it begins

    Beterbiev beat in the Ams
    Kovalev
    Mchunu
    Dorticos
    Silakh
    Tervel Pulev

All of which destroy anyone on Page's Am Record.

    I don't make excuses.

If Jeff gets beat fair and square then i'll give Beterbiev all the credit for winning as i know how mentally tough and well prepared Jeff is for this fight.

You're all going to be shocked by Jeff tonight, i definately think the fight will go all 10 rounds and if Jeff has enough steam left in the second half of the fight he's going to do some damage.
