PPV is okay but only for the big fights. Froch-Johnson and Haye-Ruiz and Khan-McCloskey shouldn't be but Froch-Ward, Haye-Wlad and Khan-Bradley can be.

To be fair the date of Khans fight had little to do with his management team and more to do with his HBO contract which dictated the date of the fight- 23rd of July is the date they had to fill for HBO.

Khan v Bradley shouldnt of been PPV. Nobody gives a damn about bradley and how many people would of bought that at 4.30am?

People need to understand that stature of the fight is not the only thing which determines if it should be PPV. Its all about star power and Khan hasnt got it yet while Bradley put on a shocker when Sky built up the Bradley v Alexander Unification fight.

Khan not being on Sky is nothing to do with Haye and was down to the McCloskey fall out. Froch not being on Sky was more about him being stuck with a bad promoter!!

I cannot stand this guy any more. Jeff Powell is a fcuking Numpty when it comes to reporting on Boxing. He mainly reports on Football, which should tell you just exactly how much he knows about Boxing... **** ALL!

Powell has spoken & written **** about Boxing for year.. literally years. He should be commended, really, because how The Daily Mail actually pay him for the **** about Boxing & Boxers he writes, is actually one of the Grandest Con Jobs ever!

This guy is a Football reporter, not a boxing reporter!

If ure going to have a PPV for a fight in America you need to have a good English leg of it to get the big numbers in. I think for one of the Hatton fights there was a Prizefighter before it which was good a watch. PPVs in America with no UK leg are going to struggle unless its Pacman/Mayweather. The only UK PPVs now should be Fwank style Magnificent Seven bills with atleast 6 title fights. Both Matchroom and Hatton both now have enough fighters with titles to create these big bills.

If any fight was going to be PPV it was Haye-Klit

I don;t understand all the outrage about people spending money on ppv or going to Hamburg

It's a sport and there are NO guarantees it will be exciting

Yes Haye talked it up but **** me, if you follow boxing and still get taken in by that then you are daft

I'm pretty sure it was Jeff Powell, or someone from the Daily Mail anyway, who wrote before Mayweather - Marquez that Marquez was a credible opponent coming off a big win against Miguel Cotto. Not 100% sure it was Powell but whoever it was just made things up anyway, most boxing articles in the UK mainstream newspapers are bollocks anyway.

And of course Haye - Klit should have been PPV, it was a massive fight, but anybody who had really seen them extensively before and knows enough about boxing to predict how styles are likely to gel knew that this fight had the potential to be shite
