I also beleive that to be wrong in all honesty.

In this thread alone I have been mocked and called stupid for my religious beliefs.

 

It's not difficult - Flea's referring to how proof of dinosaurs contradicts the Bible's version of history.

I am asking you to back up your theory. Explain what you beleive to be made up, and why you beleive it to be made up?

 

Although i get your point Flea, Church's like to spread the word to try get fellowship and try in hope that they can change someone's life. My Pastor told me of how he changed 4 lads who were getting in trouble's lives. Sometimes them leaflet's can do good.

Unlike Jehovah's who try trap you and disguise themselves i don't see a real issue with them leafleting. One preached from the bible to me other week then tried give me a leaflet i said 'Jehovah's?' they went yes! and i went sorry won't be taking that. There belief's are weird and they have a very nasty way of ruining people's life's.

Some Christian's preach which i don't like to do i have my belief's and firm with that and you guys have yours, I don't for reason i know not everyone can be part of God's Kingdom and many don't want to hear or accept the lord's word and it's not good pushing and bullying people to something especially something as big as this. I understand that. Sadly many atheist's are extremely aggressive with there views. Same with Muslim's, Christians, Hindu's, Jews. You'll always get some but i do find a sense of irony in it with Atheists..

I've never posted in a thread about religion in the Lounge, I don't think anyone on this site even knows my religious beliefs. It always seems to turn into all sides throwing insults at each other, nobody should change their beliefs based on what somebody on a boxing website says to them.

:good I think my f'ing and blinding doesn't help and poor attitude at times berating fighters and stuff so can see why. I'm trying to be a better man and always known Christ as my savior. Things in life have given me reason to believe but only started taking it serious around 15-16 and only just had courage to go church around a month and half ago. Got a long way to go but hopefully someday i can say i'm a good Christian.

 

The bible uses figurative language, the church will tell you that was a primeval event that took place at the beginning of time.

Science and religion can live side by side. my priest is has a chemistry degree. he will tell you that provided the research is carried out in a truly scientific manner and does not override moral laws is doesn't have to conflict faith. Things of the world and the things the of the faith derive from the same God.

even as a purse beleiver of science there is no definative answer for how the universe and life was created.
