Rob why do you continue to feed them with chances to knock faith mate?. Pointless debating with people who don't want to believe.

I am finding it genuinely interesting mate. I actually think Rob has changed my opinion a little bit, showing leniency with the way he treats the bible.

The Mormons I met (and my best mate who is genuinely like a brother to me) are very pro-Joseph Smith and by the book (excuse the turn of phrase ;-)) and it's good to learn more about the way some people of faith interpret their accepted theology. :good

Don't think it's a case of Rob trying to win us over, as you say that would be a lost cause, maybe I've misread your post mate, I dunno', but it all seems harmless banter to me anyway, for the most part anyway !

All you need is a food processor, rest of it you can buy in the supermarket it's fairly easy. Check out a book called 'the healthy low fat indian cookbook' it's a good cookbook with easy to follow instructions :good

I've handmade burgers for tonight (obviously not the extent of slaughtering the cow, etc), hand-cut the chips, got some nice dessert. Sadly, I shan't be nailing my date tonight (since she's a friend and not really my type, plus she suffers from depression and is about to turn to God), but hopefully I'll nail the one on Sunday...

That will be when I get my real dessert.

Fair play Flea nice to know, but from way i'm reading it been a lot of mocking of his faith with people laughing at his thoughts etc. I got a lot more respect for him for way he's defend our religion and beliefs. I just don't see point in debating with people that like to put :rofl at start of posts etc. Comes across as arrogant and rude.

I don't think it's rude to point out massive gaps in logic. Fine to say you believe in it, but you should also respect why others find it hard to accept.

Let's just not argue that there's evidence of God's existence - it's why they call it faith!

Point out thoughts yes but to laugh and mock i think's wrong. It's why i don't bother debating about it with atheists. As a few have agreed there's a aggressiveness and arrogance that i don't feel i can be bothered spending time talking to.

Mostly it's banter, sir - and Rob was hardly showing great respect telling people they're depressed, etc. just because he doesn't understand their lifestyle choices.
