What am I getting wrong in my understanding of infinity then? It's difficult to understand. Like I just posted, if space is infinite then everything has an infinite probability of happening?

 

I would like to add this had nothing to do with my belief in aliens.

For example, there are an infinite number of even numbers & an infinite number of prime numbers, however the group of even numbers is larger.

Space/time probably isnt infinite, there isnt an infinite amount of matter or energy in the universe

Though both groups are infinte, even numbers are far more common than prime numbers throughout the natural numbers.

Ever heard of complex & imaginary numbers?

My "ignorance" does quite the opposite actually.

As I know that this is the only life I have, I live it to the fullest. I am really really happy and grateful to simply be alive and breathing. The simple act of breathing in and breathing out is actually really really enjoyable when you sit back and relax. It makes me smile to know that I am alive and have a chance to live this life. You see, millions of my potential brothers and sisters didn't have a chance to live at all because I was the lucky sperm that got to the egg first.

So now here I am. It's amazing. If my mother and father had sex one hour earlier I might not have been in the position I was in to win the race and I might never have existed but here I am, lying here typing this.

I know I will die, I know it is an extremely freak occurance that I am alive, which makes me really really appreciate every moment. Have you ever felt really good because you have eyes? I mean, close your eyes for 10 seconds. That could be YOUR LIFE if you were blind. But I can see clearly and perfectly for the time being. How lucky I am! How about legs? I know some people in wheelchairs who will never walk but I'm about to get up and have a **** after I post this. How lucky I am! How lucky I am to even be alive. It feels good. It really does.

You see, this is actually heaven. When you know how much of a freak accident and how extremely lucky you are to spend time in this world and you appreciate it so much. I'm not waiting for some tooth fairy like character to give me eternal happiness and love me. I'm perfectly fine as I am.

The truth is, knowing I am going to die, knowing I am going to spend eternity DEAD, makes my life so much more precious. We all saw what can happen when young Muamba almost dropped dead. That can happen to any one of us at any time. Enjoy your life. You don't need a Santa Claus figure to make your life enjoyable. You need to let go of that religious **** and life becomes so much better.
