Just got on line to read whats been happening today! (Babysitting)

Holy moley lads i'm gutted my work moved me to a branch were I have no phone network and I cant just nip home to go online on my lunch break.

Topic of conversation today has went from sex, drugs,alcohol,mental illness, food, religion to weird cult religions.

Robs a wee beed jangler get in there son.

Just my wee bit to add in before I fall asleep, I found religion again after many years away from it God is good if you believe.

My 10yr relationship broke up, but I never had the balls to end it straight away so hooked up with some old school friends and just buired my head in some large bags of weed for sometime before the **** hit the fan atsch Blunt wraps at the ready

My dad nearly died ended up in a nursing home at 53yrs old not a good thing, grandad passed away,had guys messing with my head, had to get on with life myself finding out what was right for me afer so many yrs with someone. Bought my gran a house had to buy myself a place to live, hanging round with some strange people doing all sorts of drugs getting myself in to all sorts of crazy ****, had to stop that fast real fast.

And now just chilling taking life as it comes. Had some bad news about a couple of people in my family regarding their health but I take solace in god and thats how I cope with things now. Drugs are only good at the time along with alcohol for me its the after math thats gets me down. So I stay well clear and it dont really bother me.

 

So Julie, you use God as a coping mechanism? I understand a lot of people do, but hardly healthy as far as I'm concerned.

Lirva has pretty much given me a new outlook on life.

 

No i use god to get peace. I listen to what the priest says at mass sometimes it makes sense other times it bores the **** out me. Chapel is a place where I can have some quiet thoughts and say my prayers.

I have friends and family I also turn to if I need help and guidence, I use the gym to go take my anger and frustration out. Knowing god is there something makes life a little better for me when times get tough thats all.

 

If that's what helps you out, Julie, I'm not about to challenge you on it.

 

:good Life get's tough sometimes and you dig deep to stay a float, i've found that out over the last 2 years And if you cant help yourself to change your life and make positive things happen no one else will do it for you. Lifes all about keeping a positive out look on things all is not that bad and there are always others worse off than you. And the do unto others as you would have then do to you is something I am trying to stick by this year, as i have been rather nasty to some people and would hate for any more bad **** to happen to me :thumbsup

 

If I could be arsed I could explain, from a philosophical point of view, how what Lirva wrote is a pile of shite (as normal), in fact he argues against his own point and doesn't know it ,and you don't recognise it yet applaud it....but I can't be arsed

 

I guess I should count myself lucky that you don't feel compelled to educate me, but at the same time tell me how you could easily do so.

 

I could prove God exists...but I can't be arsed.

 

Just go back, break down his comments and apply logic, pure or otherwise
