Espn-Bud Crawford number one P4P. Agree or disagree?

Ggg is fraud who can’t even become undisputed in a weak division and is ducking all of mandatories now that 160 is finally cooking and has not challenged himself, and has only beaten one champion for a belt. Crawford has beaten 4 now and is lineal champion in 2 divisions. Undisputed in one. Beat two gold medalists.

They’re not even comparable. DJ is nice but the word elite should be used very loosely with him and of course G gave crappy performances against both DJ and Canelo in controversial bouts and he went 12 for the first and second times plus nobody has Golovkin number 1 anymore because of point one. Nobodies giving him these passes anymore he’s been getting over here cherry picking his whole pathetic career.

When Crawford says all the belts, he means it. When he wants to fight the best, we don’t question it. He will clean out 147 and probably continue to test himself.

G’s career finally started to get hard and he’s already trying to cash out and retire. Bud is a real champ. Golovkin is a hypejob that doesn’t even really possess p4p skills. He only looks good in mismatches. He’s a played out fad and if you don’t want to accept this memo, that’s on you.

    Yes..

I wasn't commenting as much on their relative skill as I was on Horn keeping coming forward for more punishment, even when it became clear (round 3 or 4) that it was over.

Hey calm down fan boy. Jacobs and Canelo are both elite compared to any C level fighter crawford has fought. Name a great proven fighter that crawford has fought

Good solid performance by Crawford, but we have to ask how much of the pre fight shenanigans effected the Horn camp.

Not use to fighting and absorbing punches through horse bare knuckle gloves. Training without any air conditioning and of course there was the car accident and the delay of the initial training camp which was going so well.

Yeah, I got that you were drawing a parallel in the dynamic.

(although proportionately there is probably the same gap in p4p skill demonstrated between the winner & loser, which is kind of what I was driving at in my response. Crawford : Horn :: Holmes : Cobb)

Stop it! You were wrong. Give Crawford his due and move on.

Please give examples of how terrible the ref was. You can argue the fight was stopped early, but Horn did get punched into the ropes and probably would have been tagged 3 or 4 more times, with ease I might add, before the ref stepped in anyway. Why let the guy get beat unecessarily? As far as the reffing went for the rest of the fight, I don't think it was terrible. Nothing to cry about. I thought you were against roughouse fighters anyway. Isn't that one of the many complaints you level against Ward?

Okay, I'll rephrase if they were able to meet with weight being even Crawford still mauls Loma.

That first straight left to the guts changed the fight. Horn was never the same after that shot.

This, of course, was no surprise. You knew Crawford was going to win. The question was how was he going to win. I had predicted a dramatic KO but Horn instead went out with a whimper really. Either way, Horn has nothing to be ashamed of. He was simply outclassed. We ALL knew what was going to happen. I was surprised Horn held up as well as he did.

Having said that, I am still not a true believer in Crawford. Yes, he is as mean as a junkyard dog but Horn certainly did not put him to the test. I don't think Crawford has fought anyone of elite caliber yet. We won't know what he is really made of until he does. I think Spence and Garcia both have good chances at beating Crawford. Thurman is kind of out of the picture but I think Crawford would probably beat him anyway. But I would make Spence the favorite and Garcia 50/50 if I were going to bet on those two fights.
