Hot take: if he snatches the highly regarded Crawford's zero within a year of defeating Pacquiao, the résumé of Jeff Horn will officially be the best of the "World champs with 20 pro bouts or less" Club (other members include 10-1 Vasyl Lomachenko, 15-0 Naoya Inoue, 14-0 Oleksandr Usyk, 13-0 Dmitry Bivol, 19-0 Isaac Dogboe, 20-0 Gervonta Davis, 19-0 Alberto Machado, 13-0 Thammanoon Niyomtrong, and 12-0 Ken Shiro**) - even if some of them win their upcoming high-profile bouts, ie Lomachenko's versus Linares or Usyk in the WBSS final. :deal:

** Tanaka has been stripped and Gvozdyk is only interim champ.

Do you really give Horn any chance at all? Seriously?

Yes, I do. More than a chance in fact. I think the fight should be viewed as a near even contest.

What about the judges and referee? Won't they be Vegas?

That means Horn is going to have to put an exclamation point on a victory, if he pulls it off. So he's going to be gunning for a stoppage from the opening bell. The fact that its in Vegas is my biggest concern, and what keeps me from out and out saying Horn will win, but based on his rough housing style, huge size advantage, possible edge in power, I'm heavily leaning that way. Like Angel Garcia said, in order to beat Crawford you have to beat the ****ing **** out of him, kind of like Maidana did to Mayweather, and at this point, Crawford isn't Mayweather, but Horn very well may be on Maidana's level, or slightly better.

You're reading way too much into what I said. I don't think Horns a bum at all - solid WW that will be a good first win for Crawford at 147. No knock on Horn, Crawford is just too skilled, too multi dimensional for any size discrepancy to be an issue. I just hope Crawford will get his dues for beating a guy that many pick to beat him or give him hell, he certainly didn't get them after schooling Postol.

Here's the craic from the smoky backrooms of the gambling world (at least the sterilized, not so dangerous internet version)...

    Terence Allan Crawford 2/17
    Draw 33/1
    Jeffrey Horn Jr. 8/1
    Over 9.5 rounds 7/5
    Under 9.5 rounds 1/2

Nobody at 140 would have a chance against Horn.. he's just too big , too tough and too physical. He's not an easy guy to beat at all despite him looking crude and ordinary.
On paper Crawford should be in for a torrid time..
Horn's not going to respect him or his skills and will brawl him gung-ho style like Maidana done with Floyd.
It'll be interesting see how Crawford deals with him. Will he have a close one like Floyd v Maidana I?
He'll have an impressive victory on his resume depending on his performance.

There's great odds on Horn to win by decision @ 12/1

And fight to go the distance @ 6/4 is a safe bet and good return. Crawford won't be looking to engage with this guy and will probably keep it long sticking n moving. Definitely a distance fight imo

Dud Crawford got rocked to the core by a garden gnome.

Good thing the fight was indoors. If there was a slight breeze, he would have toppled over.

    Opponent change...

Dadashev will now face Colombian former lightweight champion* Darleys Pérez. Suddenly this becomes a much bigger step up for Mad Max.

    * he never won the belt in the ring, but was promoted by the WBA to full champ status while holding the interim championship when Richar Abril was declared "in recess" in 2015.

And 30 seconds later Gamboa was down for the 4th time. Was your boy Lomo "rocked to his core" when he was sitting on his ass in the ring? NO he was flashed, as was Crawford.
