It's interesting , a young Jeffries in shape was built like a early 1970's middle line backer .. to his credit he sure had very big , strong legs, an asset many fighter simply don't .. however photos between fights and certainly in his first retirement show him to be one of those guys that shrink down , lose size and shape and look nothing like they do at their best in the ring ..
