    Maher did a lot of sprinting, Fitz too. Also pulleys, dumb-bells. One thing they did then but hardly if at all now, is wrestle a lot.

    makes you wonder. wrestling would give you a clear advantage in clinches and in terms of physical strength, it would be very effective in improving that. i think there would be a ton of all around fitness benefits to wrestling today

    I've been reading about Jim Jeffries fleetness of foot , over sprints.Just read on CBZ that Joe Cox the old heavyweight did the 100yd dash is 9.8seconds, very good time, for the era.
