Jeffries v quigley

  1. This is listed at light heavyweight on boxrec. I think quigley stylistically can give Jeffries problems but why the **** if quigley even considering a light heavy weight fight considering he's a more natural middle or even light middle at a push?
On the flip side is Jeffries going to campaign at light heavy from now on? I wonder how training in the states is helping him.
The more I think about this match up the more I think it's a mis match. A good name on the record, former British champion and so on, but quigley got knocked out at light heavy with a body shot from cleverly who wasn't a puncher at the time. Probably still isn't much of a puncher too.
IMO it's a bit of a cynical fight

Good fight but weird that it is at light-heavyweight when he says he wants to fights Groves, you'd have thought they would give him a fight at super-middleweight.

  3. It is weird. I'd have hoped Jeffries would have set his stall out by now on which division he wants to fight in to be honest..
I just don't think quigley is a good learning fight at that weight. Maybe smw, but not light heavy

Wud rather see Jeffries fight Anderson as an eliminator to fight Groves, would make alot more sense. Quigley seems to be a fight made to get a name on his record.
