    Yes, I have heard Johnson apologists trot this one out for years. Another in an intolerable line of excuses his legion employ in order to bolster what is in any objective sense an underwhelming legacy.

    And most do not agree that Johnson would have been gotten a decision were one rendered. I have heard and read convincing arguments in the other direction.

    Iv'e allready said there were conflicting arguments ,but as I understand it Johnson got the majority vote .

    "You pays your money ,and you takes your choice".
    I don't think there is any doubt about your choice.

    Let's just save a lot of time and say ,Johnson was a bum ,never fought a decent fighter, a crude lumbering oaf, who feasted on pygmies, a man who couldn't beat a prelim boy of today . Will that suit you?

    That's ridiculous. He fought some decent middleweights, some has-beens who were once great and one giant oaf who KO'd him. Give him some credit.
